Product Description

One of the innovations we pioneered in v3 Reconn is now available as kit upgrade  - offering a Rear mounted roll axis MOTOR control system - for a Scarab 2 axis gimbal Black including tilt

These parts for a kit to upgrade an existing v3 Reconn Scarab, to allow the Roll axis motor of the gimbal to be moved to the rear of the aircraft and features a carbon shaft drive running on two large 18mm bearings.  the effect of this upgrade is to remove all posssible play and flex normally carried/produced by the roll axis motor of the Brushless gimbal being at the front - it also acts to offset the weight of the front motor with the rear motor and requires less LiPo counterweight.

Because the gimbal is raised when mounter to a Reconn v3 - longer 230mm booms are required and included

includes

parts as shown above

  • 4*230mm booms 12/10mm CF
  • 1* roll axis shaft 12/10mm with 2*18mm bearing re-installed
  • 1*rotation assembly - delrin - 2 halves
  • 1*rear motor mount bracket
  • M3 and M2 hardware

Excludes/Requires
