This is the Famous FPV QUAD STEALTH RECONN that all the Pro-Pilots rave about for FPV TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY - Reconn worlds FIRST ever purpose-built FPV Travel Quad and pre-dates TBS -  Yes we have had this airframe in the hands of our Pro-Pilots in 2011  under going real-world event filming - its been improved by customerfeedback - but remains very similar to its original form -  an ARF Electronicait requires assembly  - What is a reconnaissance version ?  - The idea being a small and  quite quad with the Full 1080p GoProHeroHD2 out-front - clear of props in the HD FOV - and the battery offset to the rear to keep the CofG centred. We also decided to run our own tried and tested FPV cameras to give the very best aperture control and low light ability equal to or better than the human eye for low light ops as per the improvements in the V2 GoPros.  The lens is also the 2.8mm factory fitted for the best FOV for judging depth and height on FPV - Then combined this with our own special hand made Aussie Video cloverleaf antennas for 5.8Ghz - these give an easy 750m Ops radius with 1.5km clear 5.8 vision when cruising at height - The Stealth is a total package and the motors/ESC/Props and and Airframe are the perfect combination - add PARIS Sirius IMU control system = Hero ship.  The main difference between RECONN and ARMOUR versions is the wattage output of the motors and the mission weight.  Armour is a lighter ship 700g with smaller motors - Reconn sits at 1kg and runs the bigger 775kv motors at a high voltage and wattage. 

(above) FilmMaker GLambert7777 travelled to the Argentia-Brazil border Iguazu Falls - with his Scarab Reconn in his backpack and while all the other photographers stood on the ground - GLambert7777 recruited a few Spotters - trained them on location - and flew his Reconn out tru the tree canopy on this high-Risk-high-Gain mission.  In describing the flight Greg recalls " the wind buffeted me and the sound roared to the point I could hear nothing from the Scarab Reconn" and "So I relied on my spotter a lot  - I felt confident as the live vision was so stable from the Scarab itself"

• Requires prop balancing - Props and motors can be balanced to run silky smooth by the owner - this is an important skill you must learn - its easy - but takes 3-10 mins per prop to do well - its a matter of adding blade tape to balance the props when running at speed - trial and error process called dynamic balancing - props are spun up and balanced while turning/spinning.  Pilots who say they did not balance their props are just short changing themselves - The entire IMU will fly better and the bearings will last longer when everything is balanced dynamicaly - Use the Forums and YouTube to search for Prop balancing videos.  AP requires very smooth props for smooth video.
