Product Description

naze-lost-model-alarm-lma.jpgThese are a small 5v Lost Model Alarm LMA buzzer device which is driven by Hi-PWM signal & makes a lot of decibel pee-pee-pee piercing noise via an RC trigger point (failsafe setting or switch) to enable you to find your miniQuad after an FPV crash in thick bush.  This type requires an RC signal >1500uSec to trigger it and will not function if connected to 5.0v DC alone - its more sophisticated and driven by RC PWM so if you crashed out of range - it can be pre-set to go off - allowing you or a friend to walk straight to it. Alternately you can assign its activation to an RC switch on the Tx - so when you walk closer - you can switch and listen ; get an angle to walk ; which works better for long range recoveries

Excludes/Requires

 

  • If you crash your drone and the flight battery "disconnects" in the crash the LMA will not function
  • Requires 5.0v DC to operate  - Hero v2 and 5v pin ; for HERO 32 r1 use any spare 5v pin ; for Hero 32 r2 you have to use one of the 4 engine 5v outlets or source 5.0v from the PDB (DO NOT connect >5v or it will be damaged)
  • The white wire requires >1500uSec to trigger via PWM from any spare RC channel (hi)
  • Locate 70mm away from Rx for RFI protection - never activate while flying as the RFI can interfere with the Rx signal - depending on the devices connected an LMA may overload the uBEC when active - again - not to be used whilst airborne
  • Excludes RC training course on your type of Tx - - to use these you can either connect them directly to any spare RC channel of the Rx ; or if you are using SBus or C-PPM you can assign a pass-thru setting and have the white wire connected to the respective Aux Ch you have selected/programmed into the PARIS AIR Flight Controller - when that Channel goes "High" it will trigger
  • for PARIS AIR Hero•32 BaseFlight  - you would use CLI commands for an LMA device - in Basflight cli ; Set gimbal_flags=4
  • for PARIS AIR Hero•32 CleanFlifght (or BetaFlight) - you use the CONFIG Tab - bottom right - click "Channel forwarding" ; SAVE

So then ; RC Aux channels would pass thru to pins  RC5 and RC6 - see photo at right.
